Fer Frees Association. Gisborne, May 17. A verdict that death reault4cl through a fall caused by an epileptia fit was returned in regard to the death! of Mr W. N. Attwood. The inquest concerning the detfth ol Edwin Boulton, who was fatalry »in» jured about a mile out of town last night was adjourned until Friday : Christchurch, May 17. A man named George Henderson, employed in a foundry at Lyttelton, was killed this uvening through becoming' entangled in the belting ur the machinery. Wellington, May 18. While discharging cargo at Foxton,a portion oi ihe foremast of the steamer Queen -of the South was carried away. Captain Harvey had a collarbone broken, and a carter named J. Commons had both legs broken, besides sustaining internal injuries, Commons is not expected to recover* t Dannevirke, May 18. The body of John Coveney, aged 50 years, was found in ihe Mangaterat i stream in about 18 inches of waterIt is supposed he fell over tW end 'of the road bridge at Mangatora wail* proceeding to the Otanga mill.
