COURT PRIDE OF NEW PLYMOUTH. The half-yearly meeting of Court Pride of New Plymouth, Ancient Order of Foresters, was held in the Foresters' Hall, G-ill-street, on Monday night. Chief Eanger Sister^ M: A. Peatce was in the chair. The Quarterly balance-sheet ' ending 31st Match was read,, and showed the value ol Court Funds at £272, with, a membership of 91 members. As this Court nas only been established a few years it has to be congratulated on the success that it has attained both with, .members and Court funds. The election, of officers resulted in choice of : — Chief "Banger, Sister A\ Maclean ; Sub-Chief Ranger, .Sister , A. ' Wells j Senior Woodwarti, Sister E. Bullot; Junior Woodward, Sister L. H. Brown Senior Beadle, Sister T. M. Christian;, Junior 'JBeadle, Sister E\ Pearce; Treasurer, Sister E.- Russell ; and Se-. cretary, Sister' A. M. Fjurlong. The above officers were duly installed into their respective places, also { four candidates were initiated by District Beadle, Bro. A. J. Tunbridge, assisted by District Secretary, '.. Bro. C. Tunbi'idge.. It was resolved that Past Chief, Ranger Sister. E. Pearce be presented with P.C.R. neck ribbon, and that her name be placed on the Merit Board/ Votes of thanks were passed to the Retiring Officers and the District. Officers for their attendance. D.B. Bro. A. J. Tunbridge on behalf of the District Officers returiwd thanks. Four names were proposed for members. The meeting then adjourned.
