Per Press Association. Wellington, June 23. The H«vn W. C. Walker has resigned irom the Cabinet on account of illhealth.

The portfolio of education and immigration has been taken over by Mr Seddon who, 10-nigiht, stated he would like to see Mr Walker become Speaker of the Legislative Council and Colonel Pitt called to the Cabinet as Attor-ney-General.
