Nominations < for Nos. 3, 4, .6, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13; 15, and 17 close with the secretary at ' 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, , the necessary amount to accompany such nomination (this rule strictly enforced). Nominations to be accompanied by a statement of peiv formances for the past two years, or if none during that period, the last, three performances to be .given. Handicaps will be' published on or about March 28. • f All events to start punctually at times appointed by committee. Acceptances to toe paid not later,, than 1 10 a.m. on day of sports. - Acceptances ,f or chopping to ' be in by Saturday, April 4. Chopping events will be run under the rules of the N.Z. Axemen's Association. ' Competitors must enter under their true names, and at the time of entry must disclose all other names under which they have at any time performed. ■ " Competitors will not be allowed to run unless in proper costume. Protests must be in writing, and must be lodged in the hands of, the, Secretary within 10 minutes of the declaration of the judge's decision 1 Each protest must be acempanied by a deposit of 10/, which sum shall be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by ' the Committee, whose* decision ehall be final. * ; The Committee reserve the right to postpone the Sports should the weather prove unpropitious.
