PLANT AND BUILDINGS.
The electric light plant has/ been installed at the ' wharf and although costing more than was anticipated, has proved a great boon to the, shipping, and is now working satisfactory. House accommodation has' been provided for * the man in charge of the plant. New 'cylinders have $cen provided for the loco, "fireman," and others ordered, v f©f .iiie /'driver ;" and^ screwing* arid drilling machines rhave been orde.red during the year.. The^ buildings at the-works have been thoroughly .overhauled ; and recovered with nqw iron where necessary, and painted, and repairs have been effected' to the cottages. "All. the plant, in use is now in good order and well looked after. Sales have been made of a' concrete mixer, pump, and some lots 'of old iron to the extent of £110. '
