Bo was chargLecl :— (J) That at, Motujroa, on Deeem\frer 11,, 1902, he set fire to a ient the property of George Thomas Jnce; and (2) with causing- actual- bodily havm to Geoi'ge Thomas lnce. In ' conselqi«ence ofi the burns received in the fire Jnce was* .removed to the hospital, where he hhs since remained lying in a precarious ' state.
