A Hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race (hack and hunter races excepted) and that is not at the time of Nomination, nominated for any race (hack and hunter race excepted) nor has won a race of the value of 80sovs, or races of the collective value of 200sovs since August Ist, 1899. 4. All nominations must include description, age, pedigree, colours of rider, and name of owner ; horses in all cases to carry the said colours, and also numbered saddle-cloth provided by tho Club. 5. All nominations with the necessary amount in cash, must be in the hands of tho Secretary at advertised time ; post marks will not be recognised on any pretext whatever. 6. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. 7.
