ISalvadan, by Salvator, out of Danegeld (imp. from England to America). Salvator, one of the grandest racehorses the A merican turf has ever known, winner of the Champion Stakes, the Suburban Handicap, Conqueror of Tenny, and with the mile record of 1.35£ to his credit. He started nineteen times, aud was never unplaced but once. He won four races as a two-year-old, eight as a three-year-ol'l, five straight victories as a four-year-old.
