Per Press Association. WRECKAGE NEAR NORTH CAPE. Auckland, May 24. A late telegram from Hohoura re wreckage on the West Coast near the North Cape states that a large quan tity of timber flitches came ashore ; also a ship's tub and a latch. It is feared an outward bound timber vessel has met with a disaster. So far there is nothing to indicate the identity of the vessel. THE GOVERNOR'S MOVEMENTS. Auckland, May 26. "The Governor and Lady Ranfurly leave for Wellington on Monday next. TRAGIC SCENE AT A CIRCUS. H. Mann,, photo'gjriapher, while taking a photograph of a woman in the tigers' cage a! W;rth' Circus, suddenly fell back and expired ; it is supposed from heart disease. SNOW AT WAIPAWA. Waipawa. May 24. There was a heavy fall of snow throughout the district this niyrning.
