The City Councillors: this evening tendered a dinner to Mr A. E. G. Rhodes, the retiring Mayor of Christ" church. Mr H. F7 Wigrain, the May-or-elect, said that the city should not be bounded by the belts, and in touching 'on the question of a greater Christchurch said that the outside local bodies could assist the city and the city could assist them.
