The secretary of the New Plymouth Bowling Cl«b, Mr F. W. Hall, has re ceived an 'invitation from the Stratford Bowling' Club, asking members to »ttend the formal opening of the Stratfon grgen on Thursday, December 5 th. Mr Hall has also received an invita tion from the Nelson Bowling Club ask ing New Plymouth bowlers to attend s owling. competition to take place durinj the Nelson Carnival commencing on the ,3rd February next.
