U7 p.m. Sydney, November '20. — The sealing up of vessels' stores by Ihu Federal Customs authoriiieb, ynd the charging of duty on such stores has been forcibly resisted by ocean-goiug vessels. Several vessels, alter the stores had been sealed, steamed outside the three mile limit and broke the seals, with the intention of forcing" the Federal Orovcrnrnent to defend its pbsition. Tho latter, however, has withdrawn from its position, and issued instructions to revert to the old method.
