Owners are reminded that the name or assumed name of the owner or owners must be given in every entry. 2. The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry 101 b extra, and every additional race 71bs extra, in all flat races, and the winner of any hurdle race 101 b extra in the Hurdles. 3. A Hack is a horse that, .has never won an advertised race (hack and hunter races excepted) and that is not at the time of start, and has not been during the three calendar months previous to the start, nominated for any race (hack and hunter races excepted) nor has won a race of the value of 80sovs, or races of the collective value of 150sovs since August Ist, 1899. 4. All nominations must include description, age, pedigree, colours of rider, and name of owner; horses in all cases to carry the said colours, and also numbered saddle-cloth probided by the Club. 5. All nominations, with the necessary amount in nett cash, must be in the hands of the Secretary at advertised time; post marks will not be recognised on any pretext whatever. 6. All races to be run ' under* the New Zealand Rules of Racing. 7. No entry will be received for any race except on the distinct condition that any and all claims, disputes, and objections which may arise in connection with the racing shall be settled by the Stewards or who they may appoint; such decision to be final.
