Taranaki Freezing Works.
. — «_ TH.IS DAY A meeting of shareholders was held in the Town Hall at 2 o'clock on Saturday, for the purpose of confirming a resolution empowering the directors to sell the •works at Moturoa. There was a fair attendance, Mr J. B. Connett, chairman of directors, being , in the chair. In moving the confirmation of the resolution, the Chairman said the directors would be able to place some information with reference to the winding-up before them at the anuual meeting of shareholders, which would be held next Saturday. Mr C. Oliver seconded the motion, which was then put and carried. The confirmed resolution reads: — " '1 hat the Directors Le and they are hereby authorised to sell in such manner in all respects as they think fit all or any of the property, assets, and offects of the Compauy (other Jihan sh-ire capital, book, papers, documents, aud realised cash), and ts make, execute and deliver all such deeds, instruments, and writings, and do such acts as they may deem necessary or expedient to vest the property, 'asaests, and effects so sold iv the Purchasers."
