Sheepskins: Local average, 2s 3d; country salted, Is sd, for small, to 2s 3d for large. — Messrs Buckland & Sons report : — Ox hides, 4d'to sfd r cow, 3£d to 4sd; calf, 3Jd to 4Jd; kip, 3fd to 3|J per lb; skins made up to 2s 5d each; the ruling prices being from Is 6d to 2s. Tallow, good, 18s to 21s per cwt; rough fat, l^d per lb;- bones, L 5 per ton.

Cattle, Sheep, &c. — Messrs A. Buck land & Sons report that the Remuera yards were fairly welL filled on Thursdoy with stock of all classes : -Dairy cows from L 4 10s to L 7 10s; store cattle -at late values; fat and young calves sold freely; fat cattle sustained last week's quotations, LI to LI 2s the 1001 b for steers and heifers, aged cows 16s to 18s; steers ranged from L 6 10s to L 9 15s; cows, L4to.L7 15s £210 gold). Being a very-wet day sheep "were scarcely up" "to last week's values,' wethers, from 16s to 17s 9d for heavy weights, lighter 13s to 15s; ewes, 10s to ISs; hoggets, 7s to. 13s each (1300 sold). An average muster of pigs sold freely; porkers,, from LI to LI 10s each. — The New Zealand' Loan & Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report as follows: > — Cattle :,' At the Newmarket yards on Tuesday fat stock were in average numbers, but bidding was not characterised by tb« briskness of the previous- week; oxen from 19s to 22s per lOOlbs;' cows,' 17s to 19s; steers, from L 6 12s 6d/to LlO ss; cows, L4ssto L 7 17s 6d. Store and dairy stock in average numbers; dairy cows, from L 4 10s to L 8 2s 6d; empty cbws, L3ssto L 4 Is. • Sheep, with the exception of first quality, showed no improvement; wethers, from 13s to 19s 9d; ewes, 10s 6d to 14s 6d; ewes in lamb, 12s 9d; Hoggets, 6s 3d to 13s. Pigs were in larger numbers than -for many weeks, and met a ready sale; porkers selling at from 19s to Ll 13s.
