Received April 2, 10.35 a.m. Sydney, April 3.— Advance, Gungadin, and Cordon went a once round gallop. The trio kept well together for the best part of the way, and the New Zealander, ' who was in great galloping humour, moved from his companions at the distance, beating Gungadin by over a couple of lengths. Time, 2min 36£ sec. The last mile was covered in linin 50£sbo. Wakeful and La Carabine ran a mile in lmin 60£ sec. The former could have beaten the mare easily if required.
