C.tlle: At Siratford on Tuesday entile v.ere yarded in full numbers—bidding was quiet for most lines, although prices for young cattle showed an improvoiTient on last s-An. Steers and grown cattle met with little enquiry and were mostly passed at tho hammer, but a pood many lines wore sold afterwards at i.nr prices. Weanera made 10s to 225; strong calves, 28s to 39s 6d: 15 to 13 months steers, 54s 6<l to 695; 2 years stecis, L 3 18s; 15 months heifers. L 2 12s to L 2 18s, springers L 3 7s to L 5 Is. store cows L 3 7s to L 3 10s, fat cows L 4 8a to L 5 2s. At Raliotu on Thursday the yards were full and there was a good attendance. Bidding was fairly brisk and nearly all young cattle were quitted at the hammer. Calves made 23s to 33a, calves to yearlings 42s to 46s 6d, store cows L 3 7s to L 3 15s, fat sheep 14s sd.
