i I PER rttES* ASSOCIATION. I ' Dunedin, March 15. — Joseph James, who was killed on the railway, was a casual hand employed in the sheds. He had been promised employment as a temporary relieving crossing sweeper at the very place he committed suicide. The . act was no doubt owing to incurable 111- ; health. He was a widower with two grown up sons.
