The second and third days of the Wellinsrton Summer Meeting will probably be held on Friday and Saturday. The acceptances for the second day were published in yesterday's issue. The events may result: — January Handicap, Hetu or Materoa (if started); Electric Handicap, Ostiak or Full Cry; Racing Club Handicap, Materoa or Skobeloff ; Juvenile Handicap, Canteen or Kowhete; Welter, Paphos or Scottish Minstrel; Metropolitan, Ostiak or Formosan; Hack Handicap, Gipsy Jack or Dartmoor ; Wellington Stakes, Mr Stead's selectedCruciform or Menschikoff.

The Wellington races will be held on Friday and Saturday. Waylay has been scratched for her hack hurdle engagement at Taianaki. In preference her connections take on such horses over sticks as Whetu and Waiwera at a difference of 151bs and 121bs, which evidently proves her trial calibre.
