Received January 23, 11.39 p.m. London, January 23. — The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,745,000 quarters, and for the Continent 790,000 qaarters At the wool sales faulties showed a five per cent decline; good wools very firm; crossbreds upward tendency. The Aoland clip realised 6|d.

Napier, January 23. — The wool sales to-day were most unsatisfactory to sellers. Even for bright light conditioned clips prioes were hardly maintained, and in coarse wools there was a drop from a id to l£d in prices ruling at recent Southern sales.
