Bankers : The Bank of New Zealand^ ? THE Society has adhered to' the principle on which it was founded, viz., that all the profits be equally divided among the Members, Borrowers and Investors alike. The Society has recently altered its Rules, making the following important concessions to. Borrowing Members :—: — (1) The procuration fee of 1 per cent, has been abolished. (2) The Society now pays the costs of every mortgage, irrespective of the amount borrowed, and (3) Leaseholds, with provisions such as exist in. " perpetual leases " and " leases "in perpetuity," are now accepted as securities for loans.
