Oddfellowship.

The annual meeffng ot the Egmont Lodge of Oddfellows was held on 31st December last, when the position of the Lodge proved to be satisfactory. The receipts from all sources were L 853 l^s 3s; and the expenditure, L 625 6s 2d ; leaving a surplus for the year of L 228 7s Id. The aick p;ay paid to members was Li22# l^s, and funeral money on death of members, L§<3: The total worth of the Lodge Ofl that date was L 4498 17s 7d made up as follows : Invested, L 3835 ; held by trusteed, L? 01 J 6» 2d ; held by Treasurer, L 62 Is sd.

Two members died during theyeafand one left by arrears. Twenty-one members were made during the year, and the total number in Lodge at date was 197. The officers ejected to fill the chairs for the ensuing six months were : — N.G. T. E. Ford ; V.G., A. Hooker ; Perm an ent Secretary vV. Bennett ; and Elective Secretary, VV. Hooker.
