Mute now are vile presagers Of Albion's overthrow — Oblivious of her records, Or elsewise this should know : That whoso her assaileth Mast finally atone ; Britannia wield 3 her trident To vict'ry ever on. To vict'ry, to vict ry, To vict'ry ever- on. The biust'ring Boers rash Alpha Hps now Omega reached, Bnt not till conquered, and of them Are thousands deadly stretched. Oh, people crazed ; what sacrifice ! Has from yojr frantics grown ? Britannia wields her trident To vict'ry ever on. To vicfc'ry ! to vict'ry ! To vict'ry ever on. Hidd'n Fate — ail things diaposetL, Let's look: for to be kind ; And may an era opeuing Allay tgbri grief of mind. Renieraberi&S'jjood of raany's Tfae highest gift that's known.
