rriHE Society has adhered to the prinX cble on which it was founded, viz., that all the profits be equally divided among the Members, Borrowers and Investors alike. giThe Society has reoently altered its Rules, making -the following important concessions to Borrowing Members : — (1) The procuration fee of 1 per cent, has been abolished. (2) The Society now pays the costs of every mortgage, irrespective of the amount borrowed, and (3) Leaseholds, with provisions -v; h op exist in " perpe tual leases" and leaßes in perpetuity, ' are now accepted. w securities for loans.
