He declares that foreign Powers possets proof of tbe baseness of four generals, and that tbe hon' ur of France must be satisfied prior to tbe Paris Exhibition;. As an outcome of the strongly-ex-pressed sentiments by Englishmen against the verdict, four English tourists were attacked by a French woman at Boulogne. Tbe enraged woman threw vitriol over them.

English charter , options to call on French ports are being cancelled, and the annuil influx of visitors to the Riviera is
threatened. The English solicitors to the French Consulate have resigned. Received September 14. 9.55 a.m. Pji ris, September 13 — The Figaro says the nation 19 irresponbib'e for tho verdict, and that millions of Frenchmen are indignant at the result. Other French papers publish inflammatory articles with regard to tho Transvaal, owing to British strictures ou tbe Rennes trial.
