A NOTICE OF MOTION.
Another phase in o mnection with the school inspection etquir^ was unfolded at the Education BomT this (Wednesday) afternoon, when Mr A'lsworth gave notice of his intention to move at tho next meeting, (1) "That the reports be received, aud tha thanks of the Board be accorded to the members of the Committee for thu very great amount of time and trouble devoted by them to the ecquiry ; (2) that the Board is of opinion the charges against the Trjspector have not baeu sustained ; (3) th it while there is no doubt the method and manneraof the Inspeotorhave,inßome cises, caused a certain amount of friction there is not sufii ieut ovHence to jmtify the opi ion tint this his materially in jurod tho educational progress of the district, wh'le there is very decided evidence tint a marked i-nprovemont has taken pl.voe generally throughout the distnot si ice Mr Sponcer's appointment as Inspector."
