YOUNG-STREET.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, — Many letters ai.d c< mments have appeared in the papers as to what parts of the streets in the Borough ought to be put in order ; but there i>» one spot that I aaw on Thursday that wants looking to I reftr to a narrow path at the end of Youug street, m-ar Mor'ey- street. Ie being the half-holiday I weut to sco how the Esplanade was get'ing on, and took that for a short cut, as I was told I could get that way. The pith in qutstion is a miserably narrow pas ago, high bank one side and furze hedge the other ; not room for two persons to pass each other, arid as for mud, don't mention .it. In face, Youngi>street itself is in a wretched state. Surely the ratepayers living in it must be a very easily satisfied lot of beings — I am,
Burgess.
