SYDNEy, March 26. -The result of the Hawkesbury Handicap had little effect on the Doncaster Handicap betting. Speculation was very limited. North British is favourite at 7 to 1. April Fool, on tbe strength ol his win on Saturday, was made au equil favourite. Rock is vigorous at 10 to 1, which is the price on offer, bar one.
For the Sydney Cup Boladil is quoted at 2to 1 ; Lee-Metford, Bto 1 : the others 10 to Ito 14 tol.
