PRESENTATION OF AN ADDRESS. At the evening service at Sb. Joseph's Church on Sunday, His Grace Archbishop Redwood was presented with the following address (which was read by Mr J. H. We, your devoted children, the clergy and laity of St. Joseph's parith, New Plymouth, desire to join in ,the hearty congratulations which have already been" eff red to you on the occasion of the silver jubilee of your episcopate. Ojir feeling is pre eminently one of grati tude to Almighty God when we contemplate the unspeakable blessings which have been granted to the Archdiocese, during the period it his enjoyed your fostering caro and wise direction Ample evidence of the Divine bfnediction appears'Sh the great increase in our numbers, the extension and mulii plication of parishes, the erection and enlargement of many beautiful churches, sohools, and convents, and the efficiency of our educational institutions geuerally, wni s!; we are deeply conscious thit much of the work accomplished is due to your judgment, foresight, and perseverance. We also wish to join in the many expressions of love and veneration, and the fervent prayers for Your Grace's spiritual and temporal wellsbeing, which spontaneously flow from warm and loving hearts throughout the Arch-diocess. That our Heavenly Father may crown Your Grace with honour, length of days, and everlasting baau'ituda is our united prayer. In conc'u«ion, we humbly beg Your Grace's blessing upoa our rhurch. o.r homes, our families, and all oar intentions aud efforts for th^ glory of God, and especially for the spread ot our holy faith.
