The Premier's Visit.

ARRIVAL IN T NI3W PLYMOUTH. The H^n Mr Soddon and party arrived in New Plymouth from Auckland about 7 o'clock ou Sunday evening. The trip, which was accomplished ia very gooa time, is described as btiag fairly rough, though the Premier expresses himself highly delighted with the country hs passed through, its resources and fertility, and be considera*tire personal knowledge he has obtainei of the district morctluc compensates him for any little inconvenience he may have endured. The journey from Te Kuiti to Mokau was done in a four horse drag, the party being joiued at MoHau by Messrs Strauchon (Commissioner of Crown Lands), G. F. Robinsou (Crown Linds Ranger), W. Symes (member for Egmont,), and J. C. Georg*. During his brief stay at the township Mr Seddon^was entertained at a social, and at tha conclusion of an addres3 given by tho Premier a voto of trunks and confidence in tha Government was heartily cirried. The party rode on horseback from Mokau to Urenui, and were then dfi«en into New Plymouth, His Worship the Mayor aud Mrs Oockrill, Mrs SeddoD, Mrs E M. Smith, a-.d Mr and Mrs R. Cock joining them afc Waitara. During theirstay iv Now Pjymouth Mr and Mrs Seddon will ba the gue3ts of Mr and Mrs R. Cock.
