MEBBBB Wyllie & HIONETT report:— Our usual cattle sale, which was held on Tuesday last, was throughout very successful. The ydrds were filled with cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, &c., and the atte»darice of buyers being good, bidding was lively, aud every thiug.wilh the exception ot two pensof fnl'urior cattle, was sold. VVec^uote: Weaners, 11s to 15a; yearling steers, 18s to 23s 6d; 18mi'inths to 2-year steers, 29s 6d to 36s 6d; •mixed 15-months to 18-months, 25s to 335; stare cows, 268 to 355: empty heifers, 33s 6d; yearling heifers, 18s to 235; fat cows, 52s 6d; bullrf. 17s to 42s 6d; springing heifers, 633 6d to 67s 6d; springing cows, 603 to 67s Sd; cows and calves, 27s to 40s; yearling halfdrawgbts to 2-year-old do, 90s to 1355; pigs, 7s; fat ewes and wethers, 10s 6d; mixed line of sheep, ss. \ We also report the sale of Mr Granville's business. Waitara, ia conjunction with Messrs Callaghan & Payntei, to Mr Rowlands, of New Plymouth.
