United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. • Received October 4, 12.45 p.m. London, October 3. — At the wool sales to-day the market was irregular, and prices in buyers' favour. WOOL AtfD SKIN SALES. Murray, Roberts & Co. report aa follows : — We offered 550 sheepskins and 20 bales of wool to-day. The finer qualities of skins met with a satisfactory sale, but coarse grades were again easier. Crutchings and stragglers wool showed little alteration from recent quotations, with the exception of strong crossbreds. which proved difficult of sale, reflecting the further decline in the3e wools at the present London sales. To-day's quotations are as follows : — Skins : Good crossbreds and half-breds, 4sd per lb ; medium ditto and hoggetts, 3Jd to 4d; inferior ditto, 2d to 2£d; merinos (medium), 3d to 4Jd. Wool : Good crutchings. 3Jd to 4d ; inferior ditto. 2Jd to 3d; stragglers fleeces, 4jd to 5 Jd.
