Present t -Messrs "Bate** man (chairman !,-; Hodges, Bridgemafi, Taylor,' Edwaids, Surrey, Storing, Allen, and Petherick . Correspondence was read from the secretary of the Education Board re report of the Dndley Road School ; also notifying the dates of the inspection of the schools. The Inspector's report of the Dudley Road School was read and was very good. It was resolved that the committee place on record its satisfaction at the state of the Dudley Road The teachers' reports 6t the Wortley Road and Inglewood schools were also read. ' The attendance of the Inglewood Bcbool wtis just sufficient to keep the assistant. The teacher's report of the Dudley Road school was satisfactory. It was resolved to furnish two towels tor the Dudley Road Bchool. The financial statement of the "schools was read, showing the balance of each school. The' Wortley Road school is in debt £1 Os Bd. It was decided to procure an estimate for flooring the children's shed.— Accounts were passed for payment. The ground i* being cleared for the building of the new. Catholic Church at Inglewood, and I understand :that.tenderi for its erection are to be called for forthwith. v The ■ new. church"' %ill be much costlier and larger than the present one, which is entirely , too s small for thd congregation. The Key Father McKenna ■hould have the thanks, of all the members of bis church for hia energy in pushing the church forward, and it is hoped that all will assist him as much, as possible
