FOOTBALL.
PROPOSED PROVINCIAL FEDERATION. [PER PBE3B ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, August 4.— The Wellington Rugby Union is considering a scheme for a provincial federation, and has written to the Wairarapa, Manawatu, and Wamjanni Unions to ascertain their views, as to the inclusion of representatives from their Unions in Wellington representative teams in matches against other provincial teams of tha colony.
