Definition of Hack: Hack means a horse that has never won a race, and h not nominated at time of start for any race, hack, hunter and pony races execpted. All nominations, acceptances and entries must bo addressed to the Secretary (Post Office, Okato) not later than 9 p.m. •in the advertised dace of closing. Full particulars of age, colour.*, and pedigrees must bo forwarded with the nominations. Horses wnl king over will receive half the btukts only. All racus 1o be run uudcr the Rules of Racing adopted by tho Metropolitan Clubs of New Zealand. Thy Committee reserve to themselves the right of altering tho dates of entry, acceptances, &c, auil tho dates on which tho handicaps appear, should they deem lie. All disputes, claims, and objoctions arising shall be decided by a majority of tho Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and their decisiou upon all points connected with the carrying out of the programme shall be final, except in cases of appeal provided for by the Rules of Raciug.
