AUCKLAND.— September 10.
Wool, Hides, Skins, &o. — Messrs G. W, Binney k Sons report that on Tuesday hides, &c, sold freely. Hides — Market firm for well conditioned lots, but easier for secondclass parcels. Sheepskins — Competition very brisk throughout ; local large longwools, 5s to 5s 6d ; crossbreds, 4s 3d to 4s 9d ; halfbreds. 3s to 4s each ; country dry, 2s 6d to 5s 2d. Tallow — Prices show improvement ; good lots, 11s 9d to 12s per cwt ; fat, fd per ib.
The following cable haa been received from the Agent-General : — Butter, 103s j rising market. Cheese, 46,3; market steady.
