The following details of the above match did not reach ub till too lato for publication on Monday : — Tn their second innings Nottingham made a completo collapse, the last wicket falling with tho total at 14G. Shrewabury scored 23, Jones 29, Gunn (not out) 49, Brown 26. These four were responsible for all but 19 of the runs scored. Jonei took 3 wickets for 49, Giffen 4 for 29, Trumblo 1 for 32. The Australians, requiring 170 rung to win, mfide the requisite number with the loss of only four wicket 3, and thm won by six wickets, The chief tcorers were —Darling 18, Trott32, Gregory 18, Iradalo (not out) 94. Attewell took 1 wicket for 21, Brown lfor 21, Gnnn 1 for 23. Gunn's not «ut innings was a fine display of cricket. Iredale played the best cricket he has ihown during the tour, but gave two easy chances, one at 72 and again at 88.
