TARANAKI ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY. SHOOTING SEASON 1896. From Ist May to 30th June. THE shooting season for Native and Imported Game in the nistrirt, consisting of the Counties of Tiirmwki and Clifton (excepting the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve), will commence on the Ist May, and end on the 30th June, both days inclusive. In the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, being the area within the circumference of a circle having a radius of six miles from the summit of Mount Egmont, the shooting of Native and Imported gamy is strictly prohibited at all times. ANIMALS PROTECTION ACT, 1880 Section 12.— The holder of every license to take or kill game may sell game to any person holding a license to sell game without taking out any additional license to sell game. ANIMALS PROTECTION ACT AMENDMENT ACT, 1895. Section 6. — Section 12, of the Aninrals Protection Act, 1880, IS HEREBY REPEALED. Holders of shooting licenses are hereby CAUTIONED against selling native or imported game without first taking out a selling license.
