A NATIONAL TRIBUTE. [per press association.] Sydney, April 29.— The funeral of tho late Sir Henry Parke,s took place to-day. It took the shape of a national tribute to the memory of tho deceased statesman, and the scene was most impressive. The route from Kenilworth to the city was lined with mourners, and most of tho houses were diaped. The route along which tho cortege passed was densely crowded. Tho mortuary hearse and two carriages were completely bidden by beautiful wreaths. Escorted by a guard of Mounted Troopers were tho Governor's carriage, also those of the Ministers aud members of both branches of the Legislature. The Civil Service was represented by all the heads of the Department-, while innumerable private vehicles followed. A special train convoyed the coffin and a large number of friends and members of Parliament to Falconbridge, in tho Blue Mountains - a beautiful spot chosen by the deceased as his last resting place._ The scene at the grave was most affecting. London, April 29 —The Colonial party of the House of Commons passed a resolution recognising the great services rendered by Sir Henry Parkes, and deploring his death as a loss to the Empire.
