PETROLEUM PROSPECTS.
. The casing at the bore was completed on Thursday, and drilling was resumed. About hix inches were drilled through Jiard sandstone when the works were closed down for the night. This (Friday) morning tho staff overhauled tho machinery, after which boring work was to be resumed. When tho casing work was being carried on about half a barrel of oil was collected from the leakage.
