OMATA.

[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] A x accident happened to a son of Hr J. Penwarden, of Ornate, on Wednesday morning. When loading somo timber at Mr A. Bayly's, the horse bolted, throwing the boy out of the trap, which went over him. The horse kept going until he came in contact with tho gate, where he got jammed in somo way, but he smashed the gate up. Fortunately no damage waa done to the trap or the milk cans, and the boy got off with a few bruises and a good shaking.
