A long standing dispute, between two , rival churches in one of the suburbs, came before tho Assembly, and the supi porter of one section made an iusiuua- . fcion against the minister of the other , Church, The Minister, who considered himself aggrieved, marched up the aisle to the moderator's chair, and crying out i " It's a lying scandal ;" and then defied the assembly. Eventually, however, the trouble was amicably settled, and the matter dropped.
