DISGRACEFUL CONDUCT OF LARRIKINS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — At 7 o'clock on Saturday evening last I was in Devon-street East with two members of my family. We met a band of young men, ono of whom in passing deliberately threw a handful of gravel at my neice. My recent advent here precludes me from knowing whether police protection is sufficient to guard against such outrage. If the young man in question will call on me at Messrs Henry Brown & Co.'s timber yard, Liardet-street, I will be happy to make his acquaintance, and accommodate him if necessary. — I am, &c., C. An inn.
