Mr Maxwell pointed out that the lobs would all be on the Bide of the Harbor Board, who would havo to make concessions to their lessees so that the Borough Council could improve their street. An inprovement would be effected which would actually entail a loss to the Board in rent. Measra Teed and Ward did not see it in this light, as they considered that the improvement of the street would enhance the value of the Board's other sections in the vicinity. Mr Smith was of opinion that the Board had been asleep to their interests in the paBt, but be thought that the Board could make somo satisfactory arrangement with the Council. Mr Connott and that the reason the Board had been asleep to their interests was because the Borough interests had be.n allowed to take precedence of the Board 'p interests at the Board meeting. Mr Sarten thought that the Borough Council should be asked to contribute, say £10, for the concessions the Board were called upon to make.
