MESSRS WYLLIE & ROUNTREE'S REPORT.

Messrs Wylme& Rountree report :— At the Waitara saleyards .on the 26th inst. there was a full ent-y of all classes of stock, which were of exceptionally good quality. Prices were a shade lower than last sale. We quote :— lB-months steers, £3 7s Cd to £3 12s 6 J ; yearlings, 453 to . 57s 6d ; two-yeai-old hoifers, £3 5s to £3 12s 6d ; Btnre cows, £3 to £3 17s 6d ; springers, cows, £4 10a to £7 10a j and quiet springing heifers, £4 10s to £5 17s 6d ; fat heifers, only limited number yarded, which sold well. The supply of iat cattle and sheep is not up to the demand, and owners wonld find a good market for a limited number of both cattle and sheep that wero fit for the butcher., STOCE AND SHAREMARKET.
