At tho Hayuwket, on Saturday, pigs wero in good demand. Slips making 9s 6d 133 ; well-bred Ilurkshiro do 14s to 16s. A good number of horses were offered, and the majority we o sold at satisfactory prices Jincka inado £1 17s 6d to £6 10s. At tho mait, fowls inado Is to Is 7d ; docks la 101 to 2s 4 I lV.atocs 4* 6 to 7s, sharps 8a GJ, m lizo 3s 9d, bacon 6d, tea 13*, chaeso4id, sundries and furnituio sold at prices in tuvor of purchasers. Fruit has been scarce, but I have had two lots of Island fruit during tho week, all of which found ready sal^. Tahiti oranges making 10s to lls, bananas 2d. '" Caltlo —At Rahotu on Thursday tha yards wero full of cattle, and reserves high. Howover, I made a start later on, and cleared a lot out afterwards. A. few pens wero sont home, being in rather low condition.
