Mr Burke provided tho refreshments, which were everything that could be desired This was the host turn out wo have ever had in tho district, all present seemed bent on making a pleasant night of it. I was glad to see some of our Waitaia nnd Tikorangi friends there. It ■was generally acknowledged that Miss McGuiro v as tho " belle of tho ball."
