TO THE EDITOR. Siu.—ln reply to anothor bonightod citizen about the lamps not buiog lit in Gill-street en tho nights referred to in his litter to the Herald, I kindly direct him to tho Town Clerk for information on tho subject. Mr Ed tor, it seems strange to me that there is no complaints from either the Centre or Weat Wards about being left in the dark. I suppose tho reason ia that thoro 19 nono of Mr Smith's political frionils (enemies?) living in either of tho above wards —I am, &c, Fam Play.
