A correspondent to the Sydnoy Morning Herald writes to expose them as follows : — He says : "On Tuesday evening, about 6 o'clock, 1 wont to King-street to catch a tram, and was making my way to the ticket ollico when about a dozon of tho»o Arabs surrounded me, two of thorn offering to sell mo tickets. I bought six from ono, and gave him a sixponce in return, which he put in his nookct. I bad scarcely moved away when I felt my coat pulled, and on turning round I was astonished to hear this boy accuse me of having given him a bad coin, and at the same time threatening to call a 'copper' and givo mo in charge. lie was holding a tin piece in his hand, which in no way resombled sixpence. [ was perfectly aatisfied that it was a made up fraud to obtain ruonoy, and I am only sorry I did not give the boy in clKirgoat once ; buc a Newtown tram coming along at the time. I got into it, and was scarcely seated when I received a blow on tho back of my liodd from someono in tho next compartment. Guard Cox saw this and jumped off tho tram to catch Hie ollonder, but ho dodged away in the crowd, and must have picked up a etono from tho now Hue in King-alreet, and, following tho tram to Market atrcot. burled it at tho guard, junt lniesiog him by a few inchos and mailing against tfie eidu of tho train uul far from ujy face."
