A revolt occurred among six hundred convicts near Cairo, aud before the disturbance was queued thirty-nine of them were shot dead by tho guards, and eleven succeeded in effecting their escape. ADDITIONAL PARTICULARS OF FALL OF BUILDING • Washington, Juue 12. The cries of those buried by the collapse of old Ford's Theatre were most appalling. The three floors fell in rapid succession, and tho dead were horribly rautilated. The cavalry, who were oarly on the 3ceue, were successful in extricating a number of those within the buildiug. The collapse is attributed to the underworks having been removed for the purpose of the installation of electricity. About ono hundred of the occupants oE the upper floors saved themselves by jumping on to the adjoining roofs.
